Description

Having setup dozens of imaging rigs over the years, one main point of concern is all the additional weight - specifically mounting accessories like dovetail plates, clamps, and tube rings.

 It is well known that additional weight is detrimental to mount performance and therefore image quality. I have been developing a number of solutions to address unnecessary weight, the largest savings come from the lightweight telescope tube rings.

 These are CAD designed and FDM printed for a combination of exceptional strength and low weight thanks to the tough carbon fiber composite material (lots of testing videos).

 Unlike traditional metal rings that are heavy, these are very light, typically less than half the weight and up to a quarter of cast rings. 

They can be made in 40 different sizes for a variety of OTAs.
